On your computer
Agents, memory and files will stay on your device. Cloud sync will be optional.
OMNI Agent OS · Early access · Coming soon
OMNI Agent OS is a layer we are building to run AI agents on your own computer. The goal: you pick the model, you pay your provider directly, and every risky step waits for your approval on your phone.
The product is in development. There is no download link or install command yet; when it’s ready, the early access list hears first.
macOS, Windows and Linux are the targets. When it’s ready, we’ll send the install steps to the early access list.
The principles we’re building for
Agents, memory and files will stay on your device. Cloud sync will be optional.
OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or a local model on your computer. The key stays with you; you’ll pay your AI provider directly.
Steps like sending an email, deleting a file or making a payment will go through OMNI Gate. Nothing happens without your approval, and every step is logged.
How it will work
“Collect the quotes and draft a summary for Emma.”
Hermes Agent is planned as the first engine. The agent won’t have direct access to your keys or the internet.
Permissions, a daily budget, a log. If the gate goes down, the work stops; it never fails open.
With Face ID in the OMNI iPhone app. If you decline, nothing goes out.
Planned features
It will triage incoming mail and draft replies. Sending waits for your approval.
Quotes, reports, spreadsheets; in the folders on your computer you allow.
It will read pages and fill in forms, and stop before the submit button.
It will suggest meetings, write prep notes and remind you.
You set a daily spending limit; if it would be exceeded, the agent stops and asks.
Who did what, when, and with which approval; all in a readable log.
Planned plans
Plans and prices are not final; we’ll settle them with early access and pilot users.
You pay your AI provider directly with your own key.
We’ll set the price together with pilot users.
Shared agents and permissions for small businesses.
There is no date yet. The product is in development; when it’s ready, people on the early access list hear first.
Our plan is for the basic version to be free. You’ll use the AI model with your own key, so you’ll pay your provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) directly. The Pro price will be set during the pilot.
Our goal is for memory and files to stay on your computer; on a model call, only that task’s text will go to the provider you chose. The details will be in the privacy policy published with the product.
Both are open-source (MIT) agent projects. Agent OS is planned to use Hermes Agent as its first engine and add an approval gate, a budget and phone approval around it; other engines such as OpenClaw will be considered later. OMNI is not an official product of these projects.
macOS, Windows and Linux are the targets. Which comes first, and the exact system requirements, will be announced with early access.
OMNI is our iPhone email assistant, in private beta today. In Agent OS, risky steps will be approved in this app with Face ID.
